Some people take pride in resourcing and rebuilding their equipment. The whole process is soothing and help's the mind to relax. 

 

Some people hate the idea and choose not to. They would rather have brand new equipment for the build than replace it with refurbished stuff. 

 

In some case's you cannot buy the replacement item's so you are left with refurbishment.

 

In other case's it is not worth refurbishing the part's, Just throw them into the recycling bin and buy brand new one's.

 

Sometimes you just need a $5.00 or $10.00 dollar part replaced for your equipment to be exactly what you want instead of spending $5000.00 replacing everything else because you got told the wrong thing by the guy that wanted to make money out of you.

 

 

I prefer to do my research and then buy what I need if I need it at all.

Otherwise have it refurbished or replaced,

If I personally have the time.

NOW WITH A ROTARY IT IS DIFFERENT.

 

YOU ALMOST ALWAYS DO THE WORK YOURSELF UNLESS YOU HAVE A FRIEND OR ASSOCIATE THAT YOU CAN RELY UPON TO

DO THE WORK WITH YOU NOT JUST FOR YOU.

SOME PEOPLE SET UP A CAMPER AND TAKE TIME OFF WORK TO HAVE THEIR CAR'S WORKED ON OR REFINISHED.

OTHERWISE,

A THIEF TURNS UP ON THE ODD OCCASION,

USUALLY WHEN IT'S YOUR CAR NOT SOMEONE ELSES,

AND YOU NEVER SEE IT AGAIN. WHY WOULDN'T THEY,

HALF THE WORK HAS PROBABLY ALREADY BEEN DONE,

AT YOUR EXPENSE.

IF IT GETS STOLEN AND THE PANEL BEATER'S WORKED ON IT,

YOU STILL HAVE TO PAY.
